For the second time since the start.. I have hit the £200 mark! This time at the highest profit I’ve been at with +£210.17! After 186 bets, I have a ROI of 11.3% (£1,860 staked in total). Long may it continue. I’m enjoying betting on the Brasileiro Serie A right now, and having backtested my latest version of my model I can see that it has the least errors when predicting that league compared to the English Prem & the MLS. Yet to test the Championship, La Liga, Bundesliga.. the three leagues which I have struggled with so far.
Result Analysis
Last night started well with Bragantino recieving a red card in the first half which put down the red carpet for Bahia to take control of the match, and that they did. They won the match 3-0! Similar happened in the Vitoria match too, Cruzeiro had a red card just shy of half time which assisted in Vitoria taking home a 0-0 draw which is the minimum of what I needed for that bet to win anything!
Santos should consider themselves fortunate to win against Fortaleza. The hosts were in complete control of that match except the scoreline. Santos found themselves 2-0 up at half time but two penalties in quick succession brought the hosts level after 70 minutes, only for them to concede a 92nd minute OG to give the win to Santos. The match ended 2-3 to Santos, however on xG it was 2.9-0.80 (although 1.58 of Fortaleza’s was accounted for via penalties… 1.32 non pen xG score). Despite that, after Santos went 2-0 to 2-2 the bet stayed safe.. they only needed a draw for the bet to win! Shoutout to Pikachu for getting man of the match too.

Only thing I will mention from the Gremio/Corinthians match is this lovely goal from Bidon (not Joe). And to wrap up the matches from Brazil, Sao Paulo provided the only loss from this batch of matches with an abysmal performance against a side they’d not lost to at home since the year the Mayans’ predicted the worlds end. Over to New York City.. a very, very comfortable 4-0 win against Atlanta, the match was done and dusted by the 60th minute.

I will write another article tomorrow for the Saturday/Sunday evening bets for the MLS. I haven’t made any selections yet other than just one which is being played in the night tonight..
MLS
SATURDAY
PORTLAND TIMBERS V SJ EARTHQUAKES (03:30 BST)
I wish this match was being played at a reasonable hour for my timezone, as I wish to watch it. San Jose are in a good place with their underlying numbers.. their five game rolling xGA has sharply moved from 2.3 per game down to 1.4, while their xG has steadily stayed around 2.0. The hosts however are averaging around the same number of 1.4 for both attacking and defensive xG metrics. Going against the hosts here. Should see some goals.
BET: SJ Earthquakes +.5 at 2.07 (Asian Handicap)
| SJ Earthquakes Win/Draw: | +£10.00 |
| Portland Timbers Win: | -£10.00 |
