Results from yesterday

Yeah, ok. Bahia should’ve won against Sport Recife. Both sides played out a nil-nil in the end while the xG score of 0.45 – 0.90 suggests Bahia probably should’ve scored. Mirassol were coasting at 2-0 but threw it away towards the end of the game, fortunately though they scored again in the 83rd to make it 3-2 and a win! A draw would have been a fairer result when consulting the xG, was very close to being one.

SUNDAY

BOTAFOGO V CRUZEIRO (20:00 BST)

Hard bet to make but I will trust my model here as it HEAVILY favours the hosts to get a result. My concern is that Cruzeiro aren’t too bad.

BET: Botafogo -.25 at 1.87 (Asian Handicap)

Botafogo Win:+£8.70
Draw:-£5.00
Cruzeiro Win:-£10.00

CORINTHIANS V FORTALEZA (20:00 BST)

Again, don’t entirely trust this bet myself but my model HEAVILY favours Corinthians. Fortaleza’s poor away form probably helps.

BET: Corinthians -.25 at 1.82 (Asian Handicap)

Corinthians Win:+£8.20
Draw:-£5.00
Fortaleza:-£10.00

CEARA V FLAMENGO (22:30 BST)

I originally had this as a +.5 bet for Ceara but I could not by any means finds much to back it. Flamengo are top of the league and would prefer to stay up there, going for a win here.

BET: Flamengo -.5 at 1.99 (Asian Handicap)

Flamengo Win:+£9.90
Ceara Win/Draw:-£10.00

VITORIA V PALMEIRAS (23:30 BST)

Palmeiras are the hottest away side in the league so far, but they’re tripping away to Vitoria who have only lost twice at home this season. Could be a close one, or maybe not? I try not to check the head to head results as they’re just noise and not predictive; but Palmeiras have won their last two trips to this venue.

BET: Palmeiras -.5 at 2.04 (Asian Handicap)

Palmeiras Win:+£10.40
Vitoria Win/Draw:-£10.00
