Man alive. All four bets lost. On a dismal run of results here right now, just seven winning bets out of my last twenty-five! Variance? Luck? Bit of both perhaps. United should have slaughtered Burnley, and Arsenal were really unfortunate to lose against Liverpool.

Forest have been getting torrid results up until now, including pre-season. They’re not firing and they enter this match off the back of losing 3-0 at home to West Ham. They also lost their manager, with Big Ange stepping into his first match for Forest here. Arsenal are being underplayed by a lot of critics right now, they are strong and should be winning this match by a few goals.

This one feels like my WTF bet for the weekend, but I will quietly die on the current hill of “Man United are not as bad as their results so far this season“. Man City are as bad as they currently are, out of possession they are a mess and it will be something United will look to pounce on like they did last season. United have put out good attacking underlying numbers so far, they’ve just underscored, and they seem to enjoy this derby in recent seasons despite City having dominated it for the last decade.
